Peel Park

One of Bradford's largest parks opened in the 1850's. The park consists of huge grassed areas, statues and fountains. There's a large pond where ducks and swans graze and loads more wildlife in the wooded areas. The park is over some hilly terain well pathed and wheelchair accessable. At the bottom of the park there's a fenced BMX track with a decent roll-in located next to two football fields. In the middle there is a lovely cafe, tennis courts, crown green bowling, a skate park, littler childrens play area and a multi-use play area. To the otherside you'll find an adventure playground and further acres of land. Events such as cyclocross racing is often held here too. Without any doubt Peel park is my favourite park in Bradford. Also Thanks to Friends Of Peel Park, a team of volunteers who look after the park grounds.
